Goodbye NBA Elite, Welcome Back NBA Live
EA Sports is ditching the NBA Elite title and going back to its roots by naming its next NBA basketball sim NBA Live 13.
The news was revealed on Twitter by Kyrie Irving, last year’s #1 overall pick, and his tweet was later retweeted by EA Sports.
It’s an obvious move by EA Sports to go back to the Live name, as the Elite moniker serves as a reminder of the NBA Elite 11 demo that was broken on several fronts.
According to Irving, more news on NBA Live 13 is expected to be revealed on the EA Sports NBA page on Monday.
